Old, dark, bitter and bloody story.īut in game there is a fun side of this, which sadly didn't live through translation process. all this is a tale in japanese mythology. Second, all that mess with dogs and humans, and also Princess Fuse, her husband, 8 virtues and even a rosary with 108 beads (sounds familiar, eh?). First, in the early game concepts that was really so - warriors were a men, not dogs. Issun says about them "I was thinking they must be a men, not a. As you know, there are "Canine Warriors" there. A lot will be lost in a process.Īs an expample. And even more, translations just can't take all the meaning, all juice from one language and move it to another one. I haven't thought about this before, thanks! It's very minor, but makes the overall feel kinda weird. Like one of the guards in front of Ishaku's house say "didt", and how susano say "me either" when it's supposed to be "neither". There's a ton of basic grammatical mistakes, and it feels off. yea man i read alot of things in this game not fitting the english language(i didn't play with japanese interface yet but im planning) like "they can't get better of me" "i'll show better of me" is really strange ones i can remember :D Yeah, I agree. And good news, all dialogs and mostly the interface are in furigana, so you can read even kanji you don't know yet. Even if you just starting your way to learning Japanese, you still will get a nice chunk of idioms and wordsplay with Japanese version. Цитата допису SorrowShine:While I can't recommend this game for _learning_ Japanese (at least modern), I totally can and will recommend playing it with Japanese interface and dialogs, it's very different experience from usual one. Once you know how to conjugate a verb, the rest of the language becomes a lot easier since everything hinges on that. I've tried learning Japanese myself (should try that again someday), and the thing I learned though is "Learn how to MAKE verbs, not what verbs are which". ![]() don't expect to learn much aside from a few select words here and there. Aside from characters here and there you aren't gonna learn how to speak the language. ![]() That said, if you DO learn Japanese as a second language literally any other language will be comparitively cakewalk to learn (Say down the line ya wanna learn German, it'll be a LOT easier).Īs for this game, it goes into the lore and culture of Japan a lot, but not necessarily language. Not impossible, but comparitively it's a lot harder to a lot of other languages. In terms of a language Japanese is definitely a tough one to learn if English is your first and you haven't learned another language before, due to the huge change of sentence structure and a whole new alphabet.
